Odds, or "betting rates," are numbers that tell you how much you'll receive if your bet wins. In Wagering, odds are displayed in two main formats — Decimal and Fractional.
Decimal Odds (e.g. 2.50): The simplest way to understand it: multiply your stake by the odds to get your total return. For example, if you bet ৳100 at odds of 2.50 and you win, you get 100 × 2.50 = ৳250. That includes your original ৳100 stake, so your profit is ৳150.
Fractional odds (e.g. 1/2 or 3/1): The first number is your profit, the second is your stake. 1/2 means a ৳ 2 bet returns ৳ 1 profit, so ৳ 3 in total. 3/1 means a ৳ 1 bet returns ৳ 3 profit, so ৳ 4 in total.
